Don’t panic – it’s only Christmas

support photoIf you have any difficulties over the vacation period, there is no need to panic.
You can always find:
  • current known problems and their solutions on Known Problems;
  • details of IT system problems on IT Service Status;
  • solutions to common IT problems are available on the IT Help website;
  • help at the end of the telephone 24/7 – call 023 9284 3228

The Web Proxy Service offers a quick and reversible browser set-up that allows you to access all Library resources as if you were on campus.  If you need to access files on your N-drive or the K-drive, you can now set up a virtual private network (VPN) on your computer.  IS have provided VPN set-up instructions on the IT Help pages.

We recommend you check the Opening Hours page on the Library website before you visit us to check our opening hours during the vacation period.  We are open most of the holiday, not all of it.

Have a very Merry Christmas.  Library staff are all on holiday from 5pm on Wednesday, 23 December but we will be back to answer your questions in person by phone, email or online chat from Monday, 4 January 2016, the same day 24/7 Library opening recommences!
