Temporary problem with access to XpertHR

There is a temporary problem with Shibboleth access to XpertHR, which the supplier estimates will not be sorted until Tuesday. Until then, they have provided a generic login which is available by logging in to the Off Campus Passwords page

Copac running at risk on Tuesday 3rd November

Passport GMID has changed its name

The global marketing information database formerly known as Passport GMID has shortened its name to “Passport“.  The library catalogue has been updated but will still find Passport if you search for its full old, longer name.

Problem accessing the Construction Information Service (CIS) from off-campus

ScienceDirect support for Internet Explorer 8 ends 31 December 2015

From January 1st 2016 Science Direct will no longer support Internet Explorer 8.  This is an older version of Internet Explorer: networked university computers were running Internet Explorer 11 at the time this post was written.
