New catalogue available for the Portsmouth College of Technology archive collection

We are pleased to announce that another of our archive catalogues, the catalogue for the Portsmouth College of Technology collection (PCT), is now available to search on the Archives Hub.  The University Archive collection descriptions can be searched through the hub or viewed

Copac running at risk on Tuesday 3rd November

Recently catalogued books not appearing in Discovery (resolved)

Update 12/10/2015 – All catalogue records are now appearing in Discovery. We have just discovered that updated or new catalogue records have been blocked from reaching the Discovery Service by the University firewall.  Information Services are working to resolve the problem.

Finding Journal Titles in the Library

Observant returning students may have noticed that the journals tab has disappeared from the search widget at the top of Library webpages. This is because our Discovery service has been updated to incorporate journals as part of the core service

Pablo in P&M – Making things Discovery-able

This year the Library has provided access to 3,946 new e-books and 661 databases and made them available on Discovery and the library catalogue.  All this requires people to make sure the “metadata” is all present and correct.
