We recently gained access to Early Modern England: Society, Culture and Everyday Life, 1500-1700.We’ve had access to Tudor and Stuart State Papers for six years now but if you’re interested in knowing what life was like for the “ordinary” people of the time, this new online resource is for you. Daily life is revealed through family letters, diaries, inventories, administrative records, wills and other legal documents. Images of objects used in houses really help to bring the experience to life and a video explaining the importance of material culture is also available.
