Replacing the roof windows

Update 19/10/2016: Starting on 24th October, small (three window wide) areas will become inaccessible for a week at a time when the windows immediately above them are replaced, as book shelves and tables will have to be be protected with polythene sheeting making them inaccessible to staff and students.

You will note that chipboard has been placed on some sections of the ground and first floor over the weekend. This is to protect the carpet while the windows in the roof are replaced.  You may be able to see the work as panels are replaced using a scissor lift within the building on the ground floor and a mobile scaffolding tower on the first floor. The remaining areas of the floor will be covered this coming weekend (15-16 October).

Small (three window wide) areas will become inaccessible for a week at a time when the windows immediately above them are replaced, starting on 19 October, as book shelves and tables will have to be be protected with polythene sheeting making them inaccessible to staff and students.
