More e-journal platforms get ‘interface-lifts’

journals photoThere seems to be a trend for e-journal publishers to update their platforms based on user feedback at the moment.  We have just heard that three of our e-journal platforms are undergoing an update to their interfaces:
  • Cambridge – new platform is due to launch imminently
  • Taylor & Francis – the redesigned platform will launch on 9th August 2016
  • Oxford – platform migration starts at the end of October 2016 and will be complete by January 2017.
All links (URLs) should redirect for journals on each of these platforms; it should be just the layout of the page and the available features which will change.  The only thing to be aware of is that if you are preparing any teaching materials showcasing these sites, they might suddenly change in appearance!
