We are delighted to welcome back what we believe to be the same breeding pair of (herring) gulls, who are once again settling into their favourite nesting spot on our Sedum roof, which admittedly simulates a comfortable cliff ledge (the natural nesting habitat for common gulls) surprisingly well. The pair, named Gary and Gwen this year, have settled in and built a comfortable nest from the available Sedum on our flat roof. We will continue to bring you updates!
A word of caution
Please do not feed the seagulls or leave food out for these avid scavengers. No-one wants the local gulls inadvertently trained to take an overly familiar interest in students or their snacks!
