Clients have reported problems printing documents obtained by interlibrary loan as secure email attachments from the British Library on campus. They have received the error message: “This printer is not allowed for secure printing”. Once such secure attachments are opened on a computer they may afterwards only ever be opened from that same computer.
Remedy:
- Please check that FileOpen is installed on the computer you are using
- Please call the IS Service Desk (T: 023 9284 7777) to report the problem as soon as the problem occurs and while still logged into the affected computer.
