From September, you can borrow any book for as long as you need it or until unless someone else requests it! Ebooks are books you can read online and in some cases or download for free for a set time – you have full access to these as soon as you get your university network username and password. If you have any problems accessing electronic resources, please get in touch – you can chat to us online (9-5 weekdays), phone us 24/7 or drop us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) at any time.
We want you to use your library for free but we have to have some means of encouraging people to share the books so everyone gets a chance to read them! Please check your university email account regularly (there are lots of important emails to read, and they all end up there!) to check none of your books have been recalled.
It is also worth checking your library account through My Account just in case a book could not be automatically renewed – you can renew your books yourself at any time, check what you have on loan now and what you have borrowed before and returned through My Account on the Library website or any catalogue computer in the Library.
