Pablo in P&M

Copy-of-Alternative-entrance-shotPablo here!  Part-time journalist, full-time penguin.  After spending the past few months helping out in University of Portsmouth Library I began to wonder how all the new books arrived here. I always assumed they were printed in the back room or just appeared as if by magic on the trolleys but apparently there is more going on behind the grey doors than I ever imagined.  Today, the door (an aging sign still defiantly describing what lies beyond by its old name of “Technical Services”) has finally been opened and I have been given VIP (Very Important Penguin) access to the brave new world of “P&M”.  I will be posting tales of my exploits here over the coming days, so watch this blog space…
