In search of what is found

lost and found photoLeft your USB stick complete with all your assignments saved to it in one of the hundreds of computers in the Library?*  Got halfway home before your realised you were missing your scarf?  Wondering whether one handout got separated from all the rest; possibly left inside a photocopier?

Just call our Reception Team on T: 023 9284 3231 and we can tell you if it has been handed in.

IS operate a separate lost property scheme from the Support Services Desk in Area 0A on the ground floor.  If you receive an email advising you that our lost property has been found and giving you a number to quote, this is where to come.  Please bring the email/number with you as this helps the IT Helpers to help you more quickly.

If you are still saving all your work to your laptop or a USB stick, you  should really start saving backup copies regularly to your networked N-drive.  USB sticks are easy to lose, laptops sometimes fail unexpectedly, and if you save to one of our loanable laptops by mistake, you might never see your work again.  Your N-drive is, in contrast, comprehensively backed up and very secure, although we always recommend you keep several copies of your important work.
