Current access to ground floor stock (001-329)

If you need any items normally shelved on the ground floor today, including books and DVDs with shelf marks 001-329, you will need to reserve these online through the Discovery Service, Library catalogue or Enquiries form on the Library website.

We hope to be able to fetch these for you one working day (Monday-Friday) after you request them but we can only get to some items of stock.  If you request an item with a shelf mark between 001-329 and we cannot get to it, we will try to obtain either an electronic version or a printed copy from another Library.  You might therefore have to wait up to ten working days, or in exceptional cases even longer, for a copy of any item with a shelf mark between 001-329.  If you live near another university library, you might consider signing up for the SCONUL Access scheme which gives you access to other university libraries’ printed collections.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
