RIBA offers workshops in drawing and photography

Lloyds building photoThe good thing about being a member of ARCLIB (Architecture Librarians Group) is that you get to hear about some interesting offers such as the special student discounted rates RIBA are offering for their architectural drawing and photography workshops.

Inspired by the exhibition The Brits Who Built the Modern World and the RIBA’s world-class collections, workshops include opportunities to explore and be inspired by the RIBA collections, as well as practical on-site drawing and photography sessions with professional teaching artists.  Explore & Draw and Point & Shoot workshops are listed online here: www.architecture.com/workshops.

Now for the library bit… Architecture and Interior Design students, you can access images from RIBAPix and use the RIBA Library Catalogue to help discover what has been published in your subject area.  If you want to visit the library in person, find out how from the RIBA website just search for ‘Library’.
