From referencing rage to simply citing it right

You might have noticed the Referencing@Portsmouth icon that appears prominently on the Library homepage and at the bottom of every Library web page.  Clicking on this icon takes you to Referencing@Portsmouth a powerful online tool that helps guide you through the referencing process and gives you plenty of advice and examples for referencing almost anything you can imagine.  It goes well beyond what it was possible to include in our introductory referencing booklets and handouts and includes sections on common problems and ways to cite (refer to) works in the body text of your assignment.

Referencing help will be the subject of another Liblog post in the very near future, so if you are having problems with your referencing please get in touch.  If you are about to start checking your references, watch this space for more help very soon, and remember you can always come to the two referencing help drop-in sessions in the Library next week.
