Asimov 500

It’s Reden’s 500th post on Thing of the Day today, so to celebrate here’s some links to a favourite author/polymath, Isaac Asimov who is credited here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Asimov_bibliography
with at least 500 books.

For budding authors who’d like to attempt to emulate that, there’s some good advice here:

On the other hand, some have found his output intimidating:

Some pages devoted to him:

http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/asimov.htm (this page seems particularly apposite as we have two Finnish interns just started with us for three months).  Terve!

And to finish with a quote from the Grandmaster:
“If knowledge can create problems, it is not through ignorance that we can solve them.”  Isaac Asimov
