Book furniture

TOTD loves this desk made from recycled books, which has been created for the architecture library at Delft Unversity of Technology.

We make good use of other people’s cast-offs too. Did you know, for example, that our Map Library receives diposal material, much of it almost new, from the Defence Geographic Centre? Some of our most useful historic maps of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight came as part of a huge  donation of 3,000 sheets from the Ordnance Survey last year.
