50 Strange Buildings of the World

The title says it all really! Here we have 50 of the stangest buildings ever to be concieved by man’s imagination. From a library shaped like a shelf of books to a house that’s been squashed between two huge stones, these buildings are truely amazing. My favourite is the The Basket Building in Ohio which is shaped like a picnic basket. Why? Who knows!

    Wizards?

I was intrigued by the Kansas City Public Library which looks like a row of books. Apparently the people of Kansas ‘were asked to help pick highly influential books that represent Kansas City’, but I’m not sure what the connection is between The Lord of the Rings and Kansas City!

Is it good or bad that the list includes several libraries?

My current favourite is the Koolhaas design in Seattle

Another interesting category might be hotels
